I purchased this kit about three years ago. It was a side project I worked on as I could. My family and I decided we’re going to move out of state this summer and I really don’t want to move the car and all the extra parts I still have. This is the second GTM I’ve built and I can tell you that the bodywork is the hardest part. It’s what I enjoy but I’ll have no time for this project for a couple years. So I think it’s time for it to have a new home. So if you have ever considered buying this kit but were not too keen on trying to run down all the donor parts, do all the assembly and bodywork this might be a good platform to start with. The main expense would be the final prep and paint.  Bodywork is 90% done. The entire body has been fit, all seams have been worked, headlight buckets glassed in the entire body blocked to 80 grit and epoxy primed with DP-40. Body modifications include side window frames, Rear window scoops, custom grills, roof scoop, reshaped front wheel openings and covers over the door latches. Window Glass has not been glued in yet to allow for better painting. There is a slight chip in the bottom right corner of the windshield. It’s well below the sight line and will probably be OK after the windshield is glued in. If not they cost about $350 delivered from Factory Five.  Chassis: All Aluminum panels are powder coated textured black satin. All panels are screwed on with SS button head screws to allow for easy removal if needed. All suspension pieces were disassembled and rebuilt and installed. I have aligned it by eye for rolling around but it will need a trip to the alignment shop when the car is complete.  Engine: The engine is mated to the transaxle and installed into the car. Wiring is done, engine starts and runs but has not been dyno tuned. Wiring is run to all the lights but has not been hooked up. The car needs a harness plug for the steering column. Cooling system:  is done and includes the stock radiator, a Canton air bleed tank and an overflow tank. No AC or heater. I have the AC compressor bracket for the engine and evaporator for in front of the radiator, but no compressor. Brake system:  Is done except you will need to have a custom emergency brake cable made. I have the original that needs to be lengthened. The C5 brake calipers were rebuilt. The brake and clutch master cylinders are from Willwood. They are plumbed, bled and ready for action. Fuel system is complete. It includes aluminum tanks and a C5 internal pump installed in the right fuel tank with a crossover between tanks allowing filling from either side. Needs an O ring between the pump and tank. Interior:  The dash and gauges are missing, I have not pulled the carpet out of the boxes to check but I assume they are all OK. The door panels will need to be re upholstered (the glue is not holding).
