This is a Phaeton or otherwise known as a touring car.  This is a manufactured car produced by Glassic Motors, not a kit car.  The car was constructed on an International Harvester Scout chassis with a stock 4 cylinder IH drive train.  The engine has a new head and valves, new hoses and new progressive 2 barrel carburetor.  The transmission is the original 3 speed manual.  The rear axle was changed to one from a Chevy S 10 to accommodate the wheels.  The wheels are the accessory “bent spoke” 16 inch wheels from a 1935 Ford with new 600 x 16 Firestone tires on all six wheels.  The car is equipped with dual side mounts.  A new steel gas tank has been installed.  ’31 Model A headlights and light bar, ’31 style LED tail lights, ’29 Model A cowl lights, a modified luggage carrier and modified original Model A trunk have been added.  The vacuum powered wipers were changed to electric.  The car has a convertible top with a complete set of side curtains and a boot for the top.  Included is a toneau cover that can be opened to just expose the drivers seat.  The car runs and drives well.
