The bed was stretched and molded into the body as well to make a longer wheelbase and smoother ride.  The steering is one of our big things we added and improved upon, we installed a Mustang II rack and pinion to the front axle.  This makes the car, it is now precise and easy to drive with minimal effort and the steering column doesn’t stick up like a bus.  I’ve never seen one done until now and we nailed it, smooth, precise, safe steering.  It wasn’t easy but the engineering is perfect, geometry is correct and it works perfectly.  This car was about a 500 hour project from start to finish.
