The 396 cubic-inch big block fits in there with a ton of room to spare. So not only does it look like there’s more weight towards the center of the car, but also there’s extra space for you to add extra go-fast goodies. Of course, this one is already pretty darn strong with the big block power enhanced by an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Weiand Action Plus intake, upgraded distributor, and shorty headers. And those side pipes are directly fed by the motor. So with one twist of the key, this one produces a wicked sound that lets you know how it earns the Bad Lucifer nickname you saw on the dash. The Powerglide automatic transmission may even make you think about drag racing this convertible. Then again, you also have power steering and power brakes with discs up front. So it can just be a fine cruiser, too.
