My dad built this car in the late 60s and through the 70s. it has a 1955 VW chassis and a Corvair engine. The car has not been driven since 1977. I had the engine running in the last 2 years and it runs good. I did replace both carbs, fan belt,spark plugs and wires. I ran fresh gas from a remote can. The gas tank is in great condition. The brakes are in need of total rebuilding I started to do this but there is not enough time for me to do so.
