I’m selling my 1970 Meyer’s Tow’d, authenticated by Bruce and Winnie. It has a Subaru EJ20 JDM import engine running on a Link ECU, Kennedy engineering adapter plate with a stage II clutch and pressure plate mated to a Rancho transmissions pro-street IRS transaxle, VDO gauges, Disc brakes all around with Willwood brake and master cylinders with Willwood brake bias adjuster, Sway-a-Way CV axles, Odyssey battery, custom aluminum gas tank, custom made seats, Empi shifter, IMI hi-torque starter, blow off valve, Comp-filter series 160 fuel filter, I believe the wheels are 1986/87 from what I’ve been told Porsche aluminum alloy wheels. The wheels are in good condition for their age. The tires are in good condition 235/60/15, stored inside but they are older. Currently painted with DuraBak urethane bed liner, if you want to repaint it this coating comes off easily with CitriStrip paint remover and a plastic scraper. This has only had about 2700+ miles on it since being rebuilt about 20 years ago, body obviously has more miles than that since rebuild and engine was imported with approximately 45k miles on it. There were approximately 850 of these Tow’ds made so there are far fewer than that still surviving, This one has been authenticated by Winnie and Bruce Meyers before he passed away. This year has the more desirable fiberglass body, the earlier models had an ABS body that were prone to warping and braking.
