Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to offer this 1969 Cord Royale Replica
The Cord Royale Replica is designed to resemble the famous Cord 812 Phaeton Convertible. The Cord 812 was a luxury automobile produced by the Cord Automobile division of the Auburn Automobile Company in 1936 and 1937. It was the first American-designed and built front wheel drive car with independent front suspension. Original Cord 812’s built in Auburn, IN, can now fetch upward to $150,000.
This Cord Royale Convertible Replica is stated to be built on a 1969 Ford Mustang chassis, being powered by a smooth Ford 302ci V8 backed by a Ford automatic transmission. The Cord has tons of potential to take to the next level, finished in white with a contrasting Oxblood Vinyl interior. Vintage style woodgrain compliments the dash/ console as well as a wood steering wheel adds to that nostalgic look. This car has been in storage for some time and now ready for a new home.
