This is one of the very few Superformance Street Version Cobra replicas. Built by Superformance and sold by their dealer in Ohio in 1996 the Street Version is an example of less is more. With undercar exhaust, no burnt legs or ear damage from side pipes, along with no roll bar, oil cooler but sporting full chrome bumpers, full top, side curtains, tonneau cover and heater this car is a pleasure to drive and one can actually have a conversation with your passenger while tooling down the road. Powered by its’ original Ford Racing HiPo 302 crate engine and a Tremec 5-speed this car starts and runs as good as any on the planet and thanks to the large aluminum radiator and electric fan there is never any overheating in traffic. Another very positive consideration is that this Cobra is correctly titled exactly as what it is, a 1996 Superformance Cobra using the original 17 digit vin number on the original MSO. The car is not listed as a kit car nor is it titled as many are using a 65-67 Ford title/registration. That can end badly during inspection or a road check when the vin says it is a Galaxie, Fairlane, etc. The car needs nothing, body and paint are still very nice with evidence of a few stone chips on the dog legs. When you drive them that happens. Not looking for trades but always willing to listen, specifically in the market for a 67 L79 Vette. As always, absolutely no test pilots but rides around the block cheerfully given. Thanks
