This Super Wide Body Speedster comes with a stunning “Ferrari Red” paint job. It has a beautiful camel interior and was factory built by Vintage Speedsters, so you know it was done right. This Speedster has only been driven 24,303 miles since it was built in late 2010. The exterior, interior, top and side curtains are all in excellent, like new condition. The custom polished 17 inch wheels shine like mirrors and the tires still have the little “nubs” on them.
The gold Carrera script on the rear and dash, the Reutter badge on the right front fender, the Porsche emblem badge on the hood, the Stuttgart badge on the engine grill add the finishing touches, but there is more!!!
This car also comes with super cool, custom made, top down “Cruzin Windows” that almost nobody else has, because I make them myself!
This beautiful Speedster is built on a 1969 VW pan and is registered in California as a 1969 VW, with no smog certification requirements. When comparing this Speedster with Speedsters from other manufacturers, pay very close attention to the quality of the build. Check that the doors, hood and trunk all fit smoothly and are aligned properly, with no gaps. Pay close attention to the flared fenders on any Speedster you may be considering, the Vintage Super Widebody flares are not the same as other flared Speedsters.
Vintage makes two versions of the widebody, a regular widebody and the Super Widebody, which is by far the most desired.
Look carefully and you will see the difference.
The engine is a big 1915cc VW Type 1 with dual 44IDF Weber carbs, big valve heads, A1 Sidewinder header system and many other upgrades. It starts every time with just a turn of the key, sounds great, pulls well and runs VERY strong
