1955 Ford Thunderbird Shay Replica [breathtaking build]

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this breathtaking 1955 Ford Thunderbird (Shay Replica)

Don’t let the Replica fact of this Bird fool you. Because the bird is definitely the word when it comes to this one. This Thunderbird sends a strong statement with its classy design but packs a mean punch when you hit that gas pedal. If you want that classic look that will break necks when you drive by, to that hot rod power that will put you in your seat, this Bird is for you!!

From the pictures you can see this T-Bird is dressed to express in its Red exterior paint, and polished wheels. Nothing is more aggressive but yet classy than the Red & Black color combo on this Bird. Lets get to talking more about the punch this Ford has to offer, the drivetrain.

Open up that hood and you’ll be staring in the eyes of this 351 Windsor V8. This stout power plant is paired up to a Tremec 5 speed transmission and a 9 Inch rear end to control that power. So, not only the excitement of a manual. But the drivability of all 5 gears, makes this Bird a true cruiser for the streets.

The fiberglass body is significantly lighter than a real bird, and that engine is significantly more powerful making for a real fun car to drive. Some of the options also on this Bird consist of Removable Hard Top, and Power Rack & Pinion Steering.
